American Expedition Introduces New Products for 2005

Ideaman, Inc. has many additions to its American Expedition brand.

Ideaman, Inc., creators of the American Expedition brand of wildlife Souvenir~Gifts, has introduced several new products for the 2005 season. The expansion includes four new product categories, eight new styles, and several accessory items, according to a press statement from the company.

“We are looking to increase sales of our Souvenir~Gifts for retailers by appealing to more of the interests of our target consumers,” said Rick Stokes, creative director, in the statement. “We know that variety of product and styles will allow retailers to put together the most effective regional display to appeal to their consumers.”

The expansion includes an Artwood desk clock, wall-hanging thermometer, set of four note cards, and magnetic list pads. The collection of American Expedition animals has expanded from 17 designs to 25. Also available are gift bags, gift tissue, and a gift tin for add-on sales opportunities. Fiesta Brings
Major League Baseball Properties to Toy Fair 2005

iesta will present their latest line of plush licensed by Major League Baseball Properties at this year’s International Toy Fair in February, according to a press statement from the company. Six years ago, plush maker Fiesta was granted a concession license by Major League Baseball Properties. Now, Major League Baseball Properties has extended the license to include retail stores. All of the new plush items will be available for preview at Toy Fair 2005.

Tug-a-Lugs™ are just one of Fiesta’s most popular plush designs wearing team logos or bearing MLB team names. The extremely popular plush smiley face flowers wearing MLB caps that the well-known OG Gift Bears™ are among several in the planned plush line-up. Keychains, autograph dogs and more will be on display at the Fiesta booth.

“Extending our license with Major League Baseball Properties allows Fiesta to bring some of the more popular products to baseball fans everywhere,” said Michael Lauber, Fiesta’s president, in the statement. “We are looking forward to showing the line at this year's Toy Fair.”

MLB plush by Fiesta made its debut at the Gatlinburg Gift Show last November. In 2005, product can be purchased at specialty gift stores, drug stores, grocery stores and department stores nationwide. (For more information, circle 294 on card.)
