A Fond Farewell: A Farewell Address to All My Friends in the Industry

fter spending almost half
a lifetime in this unique
industry, decision time
has come! It has taken me two
years to arrive at this conclusion
and say “Adios” to all my dear
friends, who have become an
important part of this life.
It will be strange not to have the
responsibilities of deadlines, indicating
booth numbers at shows,
changing copy and all the other
necessities of producing a successful
magazine. Scott Borowsky, president
and executive editor, has
assured me that the staff will continue
servicing the accounts to the
best of their abilities.
I am grateful for the many years
I have spent with all of you, my professional family, but
now it is time to share my remaining time with my private
family.
Wishing you all a most successful and healthful year,
Janice Weiss

One of My Best Decisions
ear Janice: Where did the time go? It
was 28 years ago that I bought the
magazines from Ted Scarlett.
You are so young and vital. We are not saying
goodbye. Over the years, I have made a lot of decisions,
some good, some not so good, but keeping
you in 1978 was one of my best decisions.
It is a pleasure to be associated with you.
Most Sincerely,
Scott Borowsky
