Living Legends Holds Awards Dinner
he Living Legends Association’s Diantha
Currier presented Dan Morino, and Bill
O’Meara presented Larry Zutty, with the
Golden Lily Award at its semi-annual Awards
Dinner last year in Gatlinburg, Tenn., according to
a press release from the association.
The award signifies appreciation for the work and
leadership the winners have accomplished in the
industry, and the high ideals and forward-thinking
that they have strived for in their dealings with
sources, salesmen, customers and competitors.
Also at the dinner, Jim Blair awarded John
Lonetti with the Bryce Privett Award, which is given
to a person who has emulated the high ideals that
Bryce Privett represented.
In other business, Al Bass installed: Jim Pettit of
Ore. as the new president; Jim Blair of Mo., as the
first vice president; Murffy Stevens of Calif., as the
second vice president; Donna Wuraftic of R.I., as
the recording secretary; and himself as the corresponding
secretary.
New board members include: Mike Coude of
Colo.; Dianthan Currier of Wash.; Jim Kimmel of
N.C.; Dave Hare of Calif.; and Glady Pettit of Ore.
The Cabaret Night in Denver will be Feb. 24 at
the Red Lion Hotel Restaurant. Herk Van Tongeren
will be presented the Golden Lily Award, Cleo
Rowland, the Pioneer Award and Sonny Handler
