BearHands Announces New Director of Sales and Marketing

earHands has announced the arrival of Glen Straub, who has joined the company as director of sales and marketing.

Straub will be heading the company’s new business efforts, marketing campaigns, licensing opportunities and trade shows and will act as an additional contact for the company’s customers. He has vast experience in the direct marketing world, and joins BearHands from Condé Nast Publications.

The company is excited about adding Straub to its team and knows that he will make every effort to assist in making the firm’s products a more valuable part of its current and prospective clients’ lines.

Remembering Newt Paletz

s many in the industry are aware, Newt Paletz passed away recently. Newt left behind a legacy in both the souvenir and gift business and was always there to help his many friends and associates.

Newt, who was national sales manager for H & L Burnes of Boston, was willing to give his wisdom, loyalty and help to benefit others. He will be missed by all of those who knew him.

New General Manager

Cheerful Giver has announced the naming of a new general manager, Justin Iacona. Iacona met with customers and company representatives during recent shows, and has already had a positive influence on the company.



Walter and Kimberly Stewart Join Aspen Company, Inc.

alter and Kimberly Stewart recently relocated to Boise, Idaho after being named as the new General Management Team at Aspen Company, Inc., manufacturers of the Teepee Creeper moccasins and other natural lamb’s wool gift products.

Walter Stewart has led the sales and marketing for the ArmRx Division of Aspen Company for the past three years and will now be responsible for the day to day sales management and product line marketing at Aspen Company. Kimberly Stewart will assume the lead operations role, overseeing product production, customer fulfillment and financial management functions.
