A.T. Storrs Ltd. Announces New Sales Group
ffective last October, Andy Storrs, president
of A.T. Storrs Ltd, announced the appointment
of Options as the company’s new sales
group for the Southeast USA market. States covered
include North and South Carolina,
Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and
Mississippi.
All of Storrs’ product lines will be on display at
the Atlanta Gift Show in January 2009.
Bestever Inc. Partners with Kids Wish Network
alifornia-based Bestever, designer, manufacturer
and distributor of soft toys and lifestyle gifts,
has announced a partnership with Kids Wish
Network. Together they are set to launch a new philanthropic
program titled Kidz Give Back™. The program
is designed to teach kids the concept of “paying it forward.”
Bestever has designed specific plush styles for Kidz
Give Back™. After a child buys one of the toys, he or
she will then log onto a website and register using a code
found on the packaging. After the
code is registered, it notifies Bestever
to donate an identical plush toy to a
child in a hospital through Kids
Wish Net work. The program is set
to launch next year.
Leanin’ Tree to Celebrate 60th Anniversary with New Products and Atlanta Reception
eanin’ Tree, Inc., a leader in
alternative greeting cards
and gifts, will celebrate its
60th anniversary in 2009. The family-
owned business was founded in
1949 by Ed Trumble, now chair of
the board. Trumble’s son Tom has
served as president since 1991.
The company plans to celebrate
the milestone with several new
product lines and a reception at
the Atlanta Gift Show in January.
Retailers are invited to view new
products and enjoy hors d’oeuvres
and refreshments on Saturday,
January 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
