Crystal World Hires Seasoned Sales Executive as New President
rystal World, Inc., a renowned producer of
faceted crystal collectibles, giftware, awards
and incentives that is celebrating its 25th
anniversary, has hired a seasoned sales executive as
its new President and CEO. John Hessell, President
and founder of Klar Eyewear, will replace Rudy
Nakai, Crystal World’s founder and Creative
Director.
Nakai will continue in his role as Creative
Director, guiding the artistic direction of the giftware
and special markets divisions. Hessell has
extensive experience as an entrepreneur, being the
founder of Original World Products (currently operating
as iZone Group), one of the early pioneers in
the specialty gift retail industry, operating seasonal
gift and jewelry kiosks in shopping malls from coast
to coast.
In bringing Hessell to the Crystal World executive
team, the company hopes
to inject a fresh perspective
into their business, develop
exciting new product innovations
and expand into new
markets.
New Hawaii Rep Announced for Coins Unlimited LLC

Savina Wendin as the company’s
new local Hawaii representative.
Wendin, a lifelong resident
of Hawaii with 30 years of
experience in retail and marketing,
was recently employed
as manager of retail operations
with NCL America and
formerly vice president of
retail at Maui Divers Jewelry.
She has lived on the four
major islands and has been
active in their business communities
over the past 10
years. The company is confident
that she has the knowledge,
energy and availability to
service customers’ needs locally.
