AURORA APPOINTS MICHAEL KESSLER SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

urora World Inc., a leading supplier of affordable high quality plush toys and gifts to the worldwide retail marketplace, has appointed industry veteran Michael Kessler as its new Senior Vice President of Sales. Kessler will direct Aurora’s sales forces of more than 200 strong in the United States, Canada, Central and South America; its communications and marketing efforts; national sales and management meetings; product development, customer service and beyond.

“Michael’s experience in sales and marketing will make him a great asset to the Aurora team,” said K.S. Hong, C.E.O. of Aurora. “We are confident Michael’s knowledge, expertise and relationships in the industry will help expand Aurora’s core business. Under his leadership, our sales team will be in great hands to generate rapid and profitable growth.”

An industry veteran with an impressive resume, Kessler spent 20 years at Russ Berrie and Company, where he started his career as a territory account representative and made his way to Senior Vice President of Sales. Kessler then joined Merchandise Mart Properties Incorporated, where he was Vice President and General Manager of L.A. Mart. He led day-to-day operations, leasing, marketing, event management and tenant relations for more than 800,000 square feet of showroom space.
