ASD/AMD
Nielsen Business Media’s Merchandise Group recently
announced the return of ASD/AMD Las Vegas – the
nation’s largest, most comprehensive merchandise
trade show. This year’s show will feature thousands of
exhibitors, carrying products in more than 100 categories
– from jewelry and home décor to fashion accessories
and general discount merchandise items in Las
Vegas from March 15-18, 2009.
For nearly 50 years, ASD/AMD Las Vegas has been
ser ving the wholesale merchandise industry’s business
needs, consistently bringing its customers the largest
product assortment from top vendors across all categories.
This March, with hundreds of new exhibitors at
the show, ASD/AMD Las Vegas will continue to provide
attendees with exceptional selection and incredible
value so they can accomplish even more business in
one trip than ever before.
At ASD/AMD Las Vegas, sellers can expect to get a
broad overview of new trends in the market by seeing
the hottest selling items across multiple categories that
are influencing their customers. In addition, they can

George Little Management, LLC
George Little Management, LLC (GLM®) has announ -
ced that the summer 2009 edition of the New York
International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) will run Saturday,
August 15, through Thursday, August 20, 2009, at
New york City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center,
and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94.
NyIGF will return to its traditional Saturday-Thursday
staggered opening/closing date pattern. From Saturday
through Wednesday, New york’s Newest and Studio™
will be open at Pier 92, At Home will be open at Pier 94,
and Handmade will be open at Javits. All other NyIGF
divisions (Accent on Design®, At Home featuring Home
Textiles, EX•TRACTS ®, General Gift, Personal
Accessories and Tabletop & Housewares) will run Sunday
through Thursday at the Javits Center.
M & M Gift Shows - The International Gift Exposition in the Smokies®
The revised dates of The International Gift Exposition in the Smokies® 10th
Anniversary Expo are November 6 – 10, 2009.
ZAG, the Zoo & Aquarium
Buyers Group, recently
announced they are moving
their annual ZAG Week activities
from Gatlinburg to
Sevierville.
M & M has added more
booths to its 2009 Expo so it
now has up to 1,300 booths
available for exhibitors.

Urban Expositions and Market Square
To start building momentum for a new co-location,
Market Square is moving The Market Square Order-
Writing Show, June 26-28, 2009, to the Greater
Philadelphia Expo Center where it will run concurrently
with The Buyers Cash & Carry Wholesale Mart,
June 25-26, 2009, which will remain at the Valley
Forge Convention Center.
“Moving the Summer Market Square Order-Writing Show allows us to better serve our exhibitors
while providing a marketplace that is convenient and
cost effective for buyers,” said Kathy Goodrich, show
producer, Market Square, Inc. “With the two shows
running concurrently, there is no downtime for buyers.”
