OASIS Gift Show

The OASIS Gift Show is excited to announce they are again expanding their current show calendar for yet another new and exciting show. October 15 – 16, 2010 will be the first annual Phoenix Jewelry, Resort & Accessory Show, taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center, Hall G.

The OASIS board of directors has listened to their member exhibitors. As one of the few shows in the country driven and directed by the exhibitors themselves, it was determined that a jewelry focused show just prior to the holiday season was in demand. This new show will provide another great opportunity for both buyers and exhibitors. The show will feature an expansive selection of jewelry and accessory lines.

OASIS is dedicated to providing a profitable wholesale marketplace at home and away and realizes the importance of timing and convenience for both buyers and exhibitors. Visit the show online for more information about this and other OASIS shows.

Halloween & Party Expo

A Show for the Halloween, Costume, and Party Industry

A Dance Houston cast member models a costume at the 2010 Halloween & Party Expo during the Style Show. The event will also be held at the show’s 2011 edition, which is scheduled for January 22-25, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Exhibitors are touting the Halloween & Party Expo as the show for the industry. The show will take place January 22-25, 2011 in Houston, Texas, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

“The Halloween & Party Expo is no longer just The Early Show, it’s the show. H&P Expo provides the most inclusive list of exhibitors, the most serious buyers, the best weather and the best timing for the Halloween, Costume and Party Industry. The support just keeps coming and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Jonathan Erwin, one of the show’s organizers.

He added that he was pleased by the numerous positive comments from exhibitors about the show.

“The 2010 Halloween & Party Expo was the perfect trade show to connect with our customers from all over the world. International attendance was excellent and allowed us to meet with so many people in one location. There is great value in communicating with existing and new customers face-to-face, and we’ve found the Houston show to be our best opportunity to do that,” said Kathi Leiden of Zephyr Solutions.

At the close of the first day of the show, Halloween & Party Expo will present the 2011 Style Show featuring the latest costumes in the industry.

Erwin said the Style Show is another event in which the Expo is setting high standards and earning praise.

“Exhibitors and attendees left last year’s Style Show saying it was the best they’d seen in 25 years. It’s exciting to hear those comments, and know that we are also helping a nonprofit organization in the process,” said Erwin.

He explained that, among the Style Show’s dancers, were performers from Dance Houston, a non-profit organization.

The show will also feature other special events, including Rubie’s Annual Halloween Bash, which will take place on Sunday evening.

“It should be an even more exciting event this year because Rubie’s will be celebrating their 30th anniversary,” Erwin said. Erwin encouraged exhibitors who have not reserved space to do so soon. He said the exhibit floor is already over 92 percent sold.

“That’s 98 percent if you’re going by the size of the floor plan from 2010, but in 2011 we had to expand the floor plan. Over 70 percent of the booths were sold before the 2010 show even ended.”
