Gift for Life Annual Party Raises Record Funds
 ift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries’ leading charitable organization, recently announced that its Party for Life event raised more than $150,000. The 19th Annual event, which was attended by more than 350, was held at the end of January in New York City.
“We are thrilled with the generosity of the industry as we raise funds while having tremendous fun,” said Jenny Hammons, Gift for Life chairperson. “To date we have raised nearly $5 million for HIV/AIDS research and assistance through the generous help of partners and party attendees. We look forward to seeing everyone in January 2012.”
The Party for Life included awards to three industry leaders: the Design for Life Award presented to Kathy Ireland; the Bert Tonkin Gift of Giving Award presented to David Moses; and the Trailblazer Award presented to Mud Pie LLC founder and CEO Marcia Miller.
