A.T. Storrs, Ltd. Announces Management Changes

Effective last August, Andy Storrs stepped aside as president of A.T. Storrs, Ltd., with Ian Storrs assuming the role.

“It has been a fantastic 37 years and I still enjoy the industry very much. The time has come, however, for me to step back from my day-to-day responsibilities and pass the baton to the next generation,” Andy Storrs said. He will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors and will still be active in product development and sourcing, strategic planning and some marketing functions.

Additionally, Patricia Storrs will step aside as Chief Operating Officer, but will remain a board member. She will continue as the company’s In-House Designer, actively guiding the design and sourcing process.

With the addition in early 2012 of new Operations Manager Graham Smith, and Marketing and Sales Manager Carmen Dolinsek, both Andy and Patricia feel confident now is the time for the new management team to assume many of their former duties.

“We will continue to be involved with the business, but more in the role of mentors. There are many other avenues in life we are keen to pursue,” said the Storrs’.

A.T. Storrs Ltd., which started as a family business, still maintains its personal flavor, but is rapidly growing into a mid-size company. The years ahead look very promising as Storrs continues to bring fresh products to the marketplace and expands its distribution.



Keya Appoints Ron Schwartz as Sales Lead

Keya, a Division of Kamp USA, has announced the appointment of Ron Schwartz as Sales Lead for the resort and souvenir industry.

Schwartz has been servicing the industry for over 30 years. He will focus on expanding Keya’s market share with the introduction of the Keya Brand of 100 percent Ringspun Cotton T-Shirts to the resort and souvenir industry. For the past 20 years, Keya has been producing Ringspun T-shirts for major mills throughout the United States, and is now pleased to offer mill-direct pricing to the resort and souvenir industry.
