Gift for Life’s Party for Life Raises Nearly $200,000

Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home décor industries’ sole charitable organization, announced recently that its Party for Life event raised nearly $200,000. The 21st annual event was held in late January in New York City. Since its founding in 1992, Gift for Life has raised more than $5 million.

“Each year this event draws a crowd that is enthusiastic and generous,” said Leslie Nathan-Street, Gift for Life chairperson. “This year we welcomed more than 450 guests as we raised funds to support DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS’ mission of care and education. Thanks to everyone for helping make this event a huge success.”

Aurora and Bruno and Company Partner to Aid Hurricane Sandy Victims

	Pictured are Aurora plush toys that are benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims and honoring the storm’s first responders. Many of these heros spent days helping victims to safety while in the midst of suffering tremendous personal losses.

Aurora World Inc. and Wildwood, N.J.–based, rep Bruno Catrambone of Bruno and Company are partnering to raise money for Hurricane Sandy's Restore the Shore effort. Aurora has launched a new plush line, the Jersey Shore First Responder Collection, honoring the storm’s first responders. A portion of the sales of this plush will be donated to the New Jersey Amusement Association’s (NJAA) “First Responders Relief Fund.”

Jelly Belly Unveils New Disney-Themed Packagess

Safari Ltd® Introduces More than 100 Educational Toys

Leanin’ Tree Donations to Funds Benefiting Children and Conservation Top $37,000

Leanin’ Tree, Inc. continued its support of The Children’s Health Fund and The Conservation Fund with donations totaling $12,735 in 2012. Donations are based on a portion of wholesale greeting card sales from two card lines, Kid Quips® and Your True Nature®, launched in 2011. Donations since the introductions now total over $37,000.
